Another sort-of update
I had my doctor's appointment today. Dr Bird told me again that my x-ray and blood work were normal, and that is a good sign. He also told me he thinks at least part of my pain is from overuse(specifically, my right arm - - a possible rotator cuff injury - - and my right leg). He ordered a CT scan and PET scan(the CT scan will be quicker, as they do them everywhere here - - for the PET scan, I have to go to Macon) because of my history and for my peace of mind. I told him I needed to know - - this worrying is, no pun intended, killing me.

On that note, my blood pressure was way up today. Normally, it's around 130/70. Today it was 152/104. I know it's because I've been so stressed. This last week has been hell. If I knew for sure that nothing's wrong, I could relax until my next weird symptom, and if I knew for sure something is wrong, I could deal with it. Dr Bird says he really doesn't think my cancer has metastasized - - he knew right away that what I was worried about - - but I'm just not so sure.

Anyway, it was also time for my annual PAP exam, so he did that, and told me to keep a check on my blood pressure. If it's still up when I go back, or if it gets higher, he'll have to give me something for it.

We got the car back Monday, got two new tires put on today, and J put Freon(sp?)in it - - the AC had stopped cooling. So yay, no getting up, taking J to work, going back to bed for a few hours, getting ready for work myself, picking J up, rushing to get to *my* job, and then J coming back to pick me up. It was starting to get to both of us.

So, it's another period of waiting before I know anything definitive. Thanks again for all your sweet comments and good thoughts!
